| Like it or not we are lumbered with RA for at least this season I would think cos of the length of his contract and the pay off involved and the fact that I reckon it is a boys club with him and Elston and can't help thinking that AG was hoodwinked into his signing as he probably knows about as much about what makes a good coach as I do about selling windows.

| Quote charlie63wildcat="charlie63wildcat"All true. I am very puzzled as to why we set about assembling a squad before we had appointed a coach. I am equally puzzled as to why we let a coach go with years of experience and a proven track record at exactly the time we needed a strong, experienced head to guide a new squad, and replaced him with a relatively inexperienced coach with very little in the way of a track record and 15000 very relieved Hull fans smiling to see the back of him. It's very frustrating because generally speaking, I think we are going in the right direction as a club, it's just that, for the same outlay, we could have had a more balanced and effective squad and a better coach. We are struggling from some bad recruitment choices in the pack and the ill-advised appointment of Richard Agar.'" i'd agree with all of that, i would also had that if jk had had the money and resources that this guy has he would have made sure we got the basics to start the season. 2 halves and a decent pack. we have been dominated in nearly every game in the front row. the halves don't get a chance to work. someone needs to ring the changes and someone needs to let agar and the boys know how much a lot of the wakey faithful are hurting at the moment. at least the academy lads last season gave 100%

May well do but only saying what I think as fan looking in from the outside cos don't think RA would have got a job anywhere else certainly not SL anyway and think JE has to take the responsibility for this one.

No other SL club would have offered Agar a job, so why did we offer him a long term deal, we could have offered him a short term prove yourself deal and he would have taken it.
Sorry to say it but Glovers been hoodwinked on this one and it will undo all the great work thats been done, not to mention all the money.

guys, im sure you're sick of hull fans coming on here and saying told you so, but the main thing he did at hull was lower the average crowds down from over 14k to 11k in less than 3 seasons (and we are still paying for this now). you have been getting some excellent crowds recently and could be in danger of losing a lot of these hard won fans if you carry on like this

| Agar this week - "The players need to look at themselves in the Mirror."
It's proper Matrix down at Belle Vue! How many incarnations of the same coach do we need?

I think and a lot on here thought at the time we had to start buying, we were already behind the eight ball because we had been planning to move down a division and at that time a lot of the talent had been snapped up or signed longer deals where they were. I'm sure the club thought they were doing the right thing at the time, by the time Agar came who would of had to choose from on the market. I remember when he did get appointed there was a list doing the rounds, with all OOC players and the choice was poor.

I was one of those people that said a new side with 18 new players would need time to get used to each other, imo if you don't think a team needs time to gel with that many changes, you know naff all about team sports but like I said last week, that time has been and gone and we have gone backwards even from the Widnes game.

| hull were gash under agar even though their budget was a hell alot more than ours. No wakey fan wanted him here, don't get me wrong I didn't expect Craig bellamy but I would have had Daryl Powell over agar any day of the week.
