| Quote trin77="trin77"Hard to stomach this embarrassment. Kicking game abysmal 2 half backs who don't seem to know when it's the last tackle resulting in handovers, powerplays that aren't on and nothing kicks. Agars selections baffling as usual why is southern the captain on the interchange? Wood should be used much earlier in he game if not why is he picked? No wonder hull fans got frustrated with this joker. A good half against Catalan can't paper over the cracks. That just gives a massive boost to Cas for Friday.'"
Agree. I have defended the team in the past and advocated continuity because the performances were reasonable and progress appeared to being made on a week by week basis. Tonights result and performance is a massive step backwards and there simply has to be changes for next weeks game to show those that played tonight that is not acceptable and to give the likes of Ellis and Walshaw the chance to prove they deserve a regular spot.
Neither Mellars or Sykes are very convincing at Centre. If, Collis is fit, I would play him and Kirmond in the Centres. I'd have Ellis starting at Hooker and interchanging with Kyle Wood, with Aiton at loose forward. Lautiti on the bench and to play in 2 20 min spells.
The backs should be spending hours in training learning how to defend kicks, whilst the half backs spend hours learning how to put in decent attacking kicks.

| Quote Shifty Cat="Shifty Cat"Don't understand that comment from you tbh yes there's no arguing they were very poor tonight, no getting away from it. I take it from your comment you're
from the school of thought that a brand new side didn't need time to gel. I'm not saying it now but it was defo true when people were moaning the second and third games in.'"
On sky they were saying that gelling is no longer an excuse this far into the season, both teams were relatively new so it should have been a closer game.
Still don't think we are quite there, but at game 8 i dont think we should be nilled.

| 1. First and foremost London were solid. Didn't make many mistakes and when they did they were mainly in our 30. They also played to their strengths and our weaknesses. Fair play to them.
2. We didn't have a great start with the decisions. I thought the first try was dodgy and the penalty for the 2 points ridiculous. We were immediately on the back foot.
3. The try from Sarginson(?) came from a really lucky break but was also a terrific finish. Before we know it we were looking at a 14 point deficit. We then had the second really poor penalty given against Raleigh, as poor a decision as you will see and they are piggy backed into our half and score again.
4. We then seemed to lose all composure and for the rest of the game can only be described as gash, no getting away from it.
5. For me it is one of those performances where nothing went right and we should forget about it. I just hope it focusses our mind for the Ginners

| Its easy to say we were poor, which we were. But everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
The loss of injured players, strange ref decisions, bad bounces, bad discipline you name it, it was all on the mix.
Most of it is out of our control, but what hurt the most was the manner of our loss.
We looked second best all night, and we're outperformed and worse, out enthused in a game that was a huge stepping stone for us.
The measure of this team and this season rests on how we get up for Friday, have we got the stomach for it, because we didnt tonight!

"Raleigh is a waste of a shirt" ............... so 42 tackles in less than 80 minutes is a waste of a shirt?
Guess we know why you are not a rugby league coach.
You can hardly fault him for being unfairly penalised by Ganson for so called offences that numerous players from both sides committed during the game without receiving similar attention from Ganson.
It was a poor team performance by Wakefield and to single one player out for such harsh criticism shows that you are a waste of a supporter.

No direction is where we are going wrong here we have the skills and attributes to compete this year.Im the last person to criticise Agar but what on earth is he doing through the week with this team?nothings changed in defence or attack
i'd suggest selecting a new captain but theres no one else.
