It was unpleasant when the vultures were picking over our bones but, the one sure thing is, their best players will be heading for the exit and if we can improve our squad, then we should do.

Lots of people were up in arms over our players being poached, but it now seems ok to do the same, sad really that standards are switched in the blink of an eye.
If its not right its not right and it works both ways. |

I agree, although I suspect it may be academic anyway, unless the upturn in our fortunes has generated more cash than AG reckoned with. I'd rather we stick to our sensible budgeting policy, even if it means missing out on players in the short term. |

I bought shares in Wakey expecting the money to go towards strengthening the club but I may as well have spent it on ale. I think we should not gloat at the bulls as they strugglet in the mire but we should not donate cash either. The club with either stand (with a new backer) or it will fall and hopfully someone like AG will invest money in it (Steve Parkin). But to ask for 1M from the genaral public with no guarantee that the cash will save the club is bloody cheeky.
