what i can't understand is why ellis hasn't been given a chance.
His OPTA stats last year suggest hes a good player and I beleive he won quins players player of the year last season.
If Aiton is not fully fit surely it gives agar the chance to see how he goes in a game we are unlikely to win and save Aiton for Cas.

Let's be honest, we have very little chance of winning this game. Can't see how a not fully fit Aiton is a better option than either Ellis or Wildie. What does it say to those two players that someone who hasn't trained all week is ahead of them in the pecking order. I know we can bring one in if Aiton fails fitness test but it still doesn't send a great message to them that he still gets chosen first when not fully fit.

If Alton has not trained all week he should not be in the squad I would go Ellis with Wildie off the bench with Wood at scrum half
I also expect us to give Wire a decent game they have a fair few injuries etc I do not expect us to just roll over and let them get 40 plus If we get beat this week and next Agar will be under real pressure for London/Cas

It seems that Agar wants to stick with his 'senior' players come hell or high water. This appears to be at the expense of other players in the squad.

JK made the mistake of trying to rush back senior players when they had been out injured, often at the expense of younger players who had been doing the buisness in their place - this ultimately ended up with JK being taken to task by the players and a change in policy installed.

The modern game is about the squad. We have probably had the most consistent run of games with the same players that we have seen for years (with only Amor suffering any kind of serious injury) - and with little to show for it. Meanwhile, there are players pushing for more game time whilst 'senior' players are running at less than 100% fit. Agar might be intent on getting his 'senior' players to gel - what is doing to the state of mind of those in the wings is anyone's guess, but if Wildie and/or Ellis come in to see the coaching staff to ask to be allowed to move (even on loan) in order to get some game time, who could blame them?

Very disappointed with the selection of Collis and Aiton.

Play him off the bench. Give him some game time to get him another week nearer to match fit.

Maybe Agar is going to unleash Ellis on the quiet.

We need different options in attack because we cant't defend.
