I must say, I'd imagined the stand to cover the whole terrace not just the back, I'm slightly worried that this doesn't match what was planned last June. When the article compared the plans to an A-grade licence they wrote this.

"2b: At least 12,000 of stadium capacity is under cover
10,000 of the stadium capcity will be under cover"

Correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't look like the 2 new stands will cover 10,000 out of 12,000 people. Could this possibly affect our licence?

The Hostility blocks and East stand will also cover a lot of people.

That’s what was proposed, however what is planned doesn’t always come to fruition once put into practise. The plans have been amended (7000 covered I think) and the RFL have been updated on the progress and are happy with it. Put it this way, would Andrew Glover have bothered wasting the money and effort to get these covers up if the RFL were to say it’s not good enough after they have been installed?

No, the RFL are happy with whats been done.

i was thinking of the proceeding 90+ years as well! the fact that it can be as good as sorted in a fortnight is pretty sobering.

Cash is king, or so our MD keeps telling us.

Also speculate to accumulate. Something like that will pay for itself in a couple of seasons.

Not only sobering but it shows what we have been missing and what the right people can achieve in such a short space of time, with the right plan and a bit of vision.
