I thought we played well and surprised we lost.
We were throwing it about and trying things remembet we are a new side.

Unlucky to go into half time behind..
We then got caned by the incompetent ref and they scored off 4 kicks and an interception, they didn't rip us apart.

Not too disheartened tbh think we need to take stick and I'd put any money on us finishing above bradford

Probably the worst 20 minute spell of indiscipline I've seen from a wakefield team. Smith should know better as well, stupid petulance that needs stamping out very quickly. Can't blame the ref but those two decisions, the first especially, could have changed the outcome.

P.s. When do we get a kicker?

We got caned in the first half yet still went in ahead, when the penalty count evened up in the second half we actually took our chances, that was the difference.

Think Jeffries surprised us all tonight, fantastic kicking performance and certainly didn't 'go missing' like fans from both clubs suggested he might.

wow...they were caned first half and you couldnt score !! not too disheartened? smith at least does some good things and Aiton but apart from them two and a dangerous Ali now and again, there is little else and that 6 is poor and his kicking is pants. Top 8 ? your having a laugh

That was the key when we went in at half time, we should have had a bigger lead, we should have scored another try in the half and not given that silly interception. But still when we came out we looked good and took the lead and then a few decisions didn't go our way and a few wrong decisions were made by the players and they lost there heads, which really shouldn't have happened. I also thought the lads got a bit frustrated with the amount of head tackles that weren't getting called and lost the plot for about 20 minutes, where Bradford capitalized.

There a new team and that seemed to really show when they lost the plot, all they can do is suck it up, learn from it and don't let it happen again. That's 2 games in a row we really should have won.

Anyway well done Bradford.

I thought we played okay for 50 minutes or so.... like the fact we throw it about instead of 5 drives and a kick like last season. Some people need to have more realistic expectations, trolls are just vermin.

Looked great in the first half with strong defence and quick play the ball's, looked very poor in the second with awful discipline and woeful defending from kicks. The players really lost the plot. One thing that does concern me is Trinity seem to try and play too much in the wrong half of the pitch but then clam up when the attacking third.

Really, we couldn't score in the first half, could have sworn we did. Where does he say we'd finish top 8 as well.
