| Quote fun time frankie="fun time frankie"as a gambling man theres no way you would have got 26/1 on city to win that game i remember it and the best price you could get was 11/1 and thats a big price for 2 teams in the same division and why are you always talking rovers down on other sites just latley'"
I had £5 on it with the big baldy bookies and won a cool £135, the bets were there to be had if you were early enough putting then on, a mate got higher odds as the Man Utd game went much the same way odds wise, did that one end 2-2 or 2-1 to City?
I'm just being realistic with regards HKR, we've a new squad and important players missing, had Blake been fit I wouldn't think twice about the result, Dobson's got alot on and is missing kicks for fun.

| This has the potential to be a classic as i dont think there is much between the teams. Our team especially the pack showed a level of commitment and professionalism last week that i have not seen in yonks. By the looks of things our players are a determined, gritty bunch that will make life uncomfortable for most teams hopefully. Wakey just against KR i hope.

| Quote Tongan Mafia="Tongan Mafia"Being an FC Fan would love a Wakefield win but very worried that Kr's Pack might have the edge in this one
on the plus side im sure cockayne and fox will want to prove to kr it was wrong to let them go. And im sure washbrook will want to get one over on kr as well.'"
I'm glad that Cockayne went because of his off field issues, if they hadn't happened I think we would have resigned him.
Letting Fox go was a mistake, but Morgan treated him quite badly last year so it was probably as much his choice to go as ours.

He certainly knows where the try line is and another couple this weekend would be cracking

| this is a close one to call. i think the loss of amor is massive to us, as we don't have a big pack anyway, but it is getting smaller and smaller...
for probably the first time ever i am hoping for dry conditions to see wakey throw the ball about. if its wet and muddy, our pack will not cope, but if its an open game.....
heart says wakey, head says KR - head wins - KR by 4
think we are in for a good game....

| You can't read too much into last week, but we looked much fitter in the second half, wether that is a result of the interchange rule/smaller forwards, i don't know.
It will be interesting to see wether a big forward is any more a advantage/disadvantage on a dry or muddy pitch.

i think we can read that we are a fit side. given that we took a serious battering on our own line AND STILL came home with a wet sail by a decent margin suggests we are fit.

| Rovers to win - 24 - 6
MoM - Kris Welham
Sandercock has our guys working on defence and discipline this week so I expect to see improvement in both areas. I reckon our pack will improve on last weeks encounter with Leeds, and will build a solid platform to allow Dobbo, Hall and Withers space to weave their magic.
I thought Wakey did a job on Widnes and expect to see an improved performance but they will defo miss the services of Amor. Charlie will be up for the game but expect Foxy to be targetted and exposed by our wide players. Wakey's work rate will need to go up a fair few notches if they want to register back-to-back victories.
It will be a hard fought arm wrestle in the first half, but Rovers forwards will dominate and we will pull away from Wakey in the second half.

Of course we can fff, but that wasn't my point, the incessant postings about we are too small or we dont have a wrecking ball prop continue after we beat a bigger pack last week.
Wether a big pack will be better in mud or dry if at all, has yet to proved so lets just wait and see what this week brings.
I can see advantages of smaller forwards, that after one game (and only one game) that have yet to be disproved, but lets at least wait for it to happen.
Fit - check
Light - check
Thats all we've got but it worked away at Widnes so lets get on with it - check
