U will shoot me down as u always do with people that disagree with u but I really don't care!!'"
No it's not called being shot down, it's called debate and challenging others opinions whilst expressing your own. Why you and so many others on here struggle with this concept is a mystery - it is after all called a forum.
You may be right but time will tell.
As a matter of interest can you name me all these that has more than 4 proven SL props because I've had a shufty and frankly it's all down to opinion in most cases as to whether they have.
Saints only have two out and out props in Luke Perry and McCarthy Scarsbrook, with Puletua available. The rest are "kids" as you put it and relative unknowns. Are they no hopers. Leeds are best off but even then they are a mix. Moore, Peacock, Griffin, Kirk, Baily - thats five plus Pitts and Ambler who are still relatively untried and in Amblers case lightweight (15st 6lbs). I'd take that line up who wouldn't but we have not got that budget. We have done very well to find 4 first choice props of reasonable quality. Whilst at the same time you do Trout, Spiers and above all James a dis-service.
Hudds have recruited massive squads in recent times yet it has not produced great results - not yet anyway. So it clearly isn't the be all and end all to have 8 props in the team.
Very few clubs have a full squad of proven SL standard players. All have some up and comers whilst most have squad players who can fill the gaps when they appear. We have done well to recruit so many proven players but you have to accept we can't cover everything and on occasion some players will have to step up to the mark. So perhaps the glass is half full, try it you might like it.
