I know this is a bit O/T but back to an earlier comment made about doing a copy of it in the club shop (good idea) has anyone mentioned or know if they will be doing big Wally Lewis posters like that one straight in front of u as u walk in to the shop in the ridings? I mentioned it in the shop sometime before xmas, would be a nice poster to own, get Wally flown in for a day to sign merchandise as well

I would be a good idea for the club to show one of these on a week night on the big screen and put on a curry or something, that might bring some cash in.

i'd like to see the 1979 semi final .. tried all over to get a copy so my little un could watch it with no luck.

Id quite like to see us beating (make that stuffing it up em!!!!) Hudds last season again, but in the dryness of my home cinema/living room!!!

I've said this before, but all the club need is a decent PC, a hard drive full of old matches and a stock of DVDs and cases to burn them off on demand and sell them at £10-15 a time. Anyone who has burned off a DVD in the past will say it isn't the hardest task to learn. Easy money.

There are copyright issues over most of these.

The ones you want are Sky / BBC and the older club ones are Makron (or something like that), so it's only the last few years that the club can provide, and for 2 of those I don't think there is commentary!

Talk of them being copied on here is dangerous, although whether anyone would bother - I don't know, epsecially for no-cost!

I've been recording Trinity matches for years off Scrumdown, BBC, Sky and others. They are all over the place in my huge collection but they are all on video. Although in recent years I've bought a few games on DVD, Widnes away and Leeds away spring to mind. Like Tamargrace I would like the 79 semi, somebody must have a copy. It's the only one probably I'm missing from my years of watching us, at least ones I remember us being on the TV for. There were some great Scrumdown matches late 80s, I definitely have victories against Hunslet, Oldham away, Salford and Cas from memory, I didn't always keep the defeats but I have some highlights of a defeat in the Challenge Cup at Bradford when we were in the second division and they were in the first.I even used to record bits off the news when they showed brief highlights and tries. There are tries and goals from the Swinton cup replay, Dewsbury and Leeds in the Yorkshire Cup and other bits stuck on the end of tapes, sad or what? Would be good to get in touch with others who are collectors to exchange games etc and if the club wants to borrow any of mine to convert they are quite welcome.

This might be a possibility. The Supporters Trust have had discussions with the club about opening up CATS for the World Club Challenge with maybe a video of an old game on beforehand and a chance to meet some of the players.
