Most on your board are saying top 8,are they dreaming no disrespect but head in the clouds comes to mind.
It would be like us saying we could win the challenge cup.
Every 1 is writing widnes off, and i say bring it on because we will no way finish in the 8 ,I wish we could but we wont.
In 6 weeks time when u meet the widnes side most of you think you will beat.
Well what if you dont, does that mean that we will finish in the top 8 i say no,Neither widnes or wakefield will.
No matter how much our fans want it to happen.
I think we are both about the same could go either way, But i will say this we will shock a few this season


Widnes is on the rise as a town the feeling is we will get good crowds and will no way be in the bottom 3 attendances this season.

In the coming season, I have not got a clue where WT will stand in the final table. The first team squad of 1-13 are mostly an unknown team to me. They may rip SL apart or they may perform modestly - they may end bottom BUT I am pretty confident we will not have another season fighting off the wooden spoon.

So any predictions made as far as WT are concerned (and Widnes as they have a large number of new players like us) are calculated guesses at best!

re Widnes fan ; I don't believe we have our head in the clouds at all. We have a brand new team with some quality players who need to gel quickly but they are professional players trained and conditioned to Super League or the NRL in most cases. Who knows ? Thay may already be well on the way, only time will tell but top 8 is not beyond them by any means and we are gonna shock many this year I am sure. For the record I reckon:

Er no, some Trinity fans thinking we'll get to 8th place isn't the same as Widnes winning the Challenge cup at all, no where near it. Especially when you look at the squads of the teams from around 8th down, it's going to be a bit of a toss up , it's hard to tell exactly where teams will place, so what if some fans are hoping for the best, no need for the big rant is there mate.

most fans make their predictions more in line with what they wish rather than what they expect. Hence some Wakey fans predict top 8.
Many on the VT have put Wakefield at the bottom of their predicted table season after season. Some will continue again this year. I don't know how many years we've been in Super League now but I'll bet their are one or two posters who have been wrong regarding Wakefield for *** consequetive seasons yet will bang us in bottom spot once again.

They'll be wrong again.

Always thought wakefield 100 percent effort when ive watched them over the past few seasons,and come away with some great wins.
Just hope we have the heart and effort we need to win games this season.

No fair enough just like u we keep getting put down,I know we are new,But watch out our squad is looking a lot better than people think.
