Been mulling it over all evening and can't bring myself round. Don't think this is a good signing. Without doubt he'll do a job, but that's about it, I can't imagine him standing out. I've never really thought much of him, always thought he was prone to making some really silly decisions both in attack and defence and never really seems able to catch a ball.

We shall see though. Hopefully, my doubts will be proved wrong.

FWIH there have been actions taken and the player in question won't be facing charges. Now it's not for me to speculate an out of court settlement, but let's just say that actions have been taken.

Good news for the club in question & in a way the game as a whole. We might be spared being dragged through the mud as the police have a current policy of releasing CCTV footage. Someone close to me has seen the footage and let's just say a lot of kids would be very upset with a current SL player (& his mates) for what they did to Santa!

But the players shouldn't get away with it. Fines are nothing, a lengthy ban by the club should be taken to show they stand against any involvement in these sort of actions in anyway. But I wouldn't hold my breathe on the count, with their record.

Clubs in question should have incidents like this held against them on their franchise applications in my view. Now I'm not saying this only happens at this particular club in question, but it seems to be a common occurrence at this club- players in town & fans in the ground.

A Cas player managed to get away with an out of court settlement 2/3 years ago, although they did get shut quite quickly afterwards.

Welcome back g. price fan club, clever what you did there, realised this is probably just an unsubstantiated rumour, so now when nothing ever comes out because nothing ever happened, if you spread this rumour, a clubs reputation is damaged for something that didn't happen, clever, but sad.

In your view should it be held against clubs for signing players who break womens noses, racially abuse other players on the pitch, take performance enhancing drugs, kick the living hell out of a bloke while he's on the floor and outnumbered, post racist comments on facebook, are involved in police care chases and players that glass women after sexually assaulting them?

I know what you are saying but only the bit highlighted actually happened whilst the player was at Wakefield. All the other stuff occurred at other clubs.
