Sue Speak up now on behalf of LCC, dealing with there planning side. Summary first, then questions.
LCC main objection is on the Green Belt issue.
LCC claim we have ruled out any other site, as this one is available. Also don't know why we haven't looked at other sites.
LCC claim we don't need such a large site, or that it could be split over a number of sites.
York Court are questioning now and ask if Leeds have an issue with the Stadium, which they claim no issue.
LCC agree that Wakefield do need all we are asking for!
LCC agree that we need a developer to build all we need to deliver the full application, including the Stadium!
So, LCC agree we need a stadium, we need more B8, need more jobs and need a developer to provide the funding. Come on now!!
LCC just presume we could share with Castleford, but have no evidence to back it up. They haven't really looked into it.
LCC suggest we build the b8 elsewhere and the stadium at Newmarket! Surely green belt is green belt!
