Quote: HerbertSplatt "I wouldn't get too carried away with this. As far as I was aware all RLC clubs in the Midlands were 'assigned' a SL club to build up links with. It was mainly up to the amateur club to see what they could get built up with the pro club. A number of them just have coaches come and take a few sessions for them, others build up a structure so that young players have a pathway, but how many of those progress into pro contracts only time will tell.'"
The RLC club "Demons" had a link up with those RL interlopers from the capital. They will now link up with the new CC1 club and therfore Trinity.
In their short history "Demons" have supplied four players to the professional ranks and were they first and to date only club to win back to back RLC national championships for their grade of the game.
RL has in a short time made great strides in a predominatly RU territority which I'm sure would give a few RL efficiados great pleasure.
And I'm sure if any Trinity fans pop down for a game from 2013 will be made welcome.
