Strong enough, just looks like he lacks a yard or 2 of pace. Think along the lines of a young Kirk Dixon but without the goal kicking and not quite as good

We (Batley Bulldogs) had him on dual registration from Huddersfield Giants for the best part of the 2010 season. When we signed him we were all very excited, especially as he came with a great rep and was actually named as the 41st best young player in world RL by a well-known magazine. However, he was, for the best part, ridiculously bad - especially in his opening 9 or 10 games when he literally couldn't catch, tackle or beat a man. A very disappointing player.

Got all it takes to be a first class player if he commits. Not a huge loss but wouldn't write him off, did a decent job for us.

I don't understand the need to put the boot in or slag off a player when they leave the club. Josh started well for us but lost his way. There is potential in him, but i'd say he has quite a bit of work to do to become a regular starter for Castleford.

Good luck to the lad, he came to us at a difficult time.

Lets hope you have a confident winger at the side of him, because he'll cop all the flak for the mistakes Griffin makes...

huddersfield didnt want him... i doubt anyone else did either. sorry vasty what i meant i say was he is a world beater and i cant believe hes gone... please come back josh and bring teapot home too
