Wrong mr philb. It's a one year deal. However if ben proves himself then negotiations will begin early to extend and improve the deal. Was with him on Saturday and that is the deal that's been agreed. Was offered a year with a years option but he wanted to show the club he's serious about keeping out of trouble and prove what he can do on the pitch and asked for a one year deal to prove himself on and off the pitch in order to get a new deal. He has vowed to keep his nose clean and I can tell he's serious about this. I don't think he'll mess this up and he will end up being a big asset to the club

Ben is 100% effort and I am sure you will see lots of quality from him!
