| Quote Daddycool="Daddycool"Point 3 is not totally correct. I like Glenn a lot and would have offered him a new deal but he was highly paid and there weren;t more on better money'"
I was told by someone there were at least three players on more money (And not just by a couple of grand)at the start of the season, wasn't three players on more by the end though. (Read into that what you like)
Point is he would stop for a paycut, Crazy letting him go, gives 100% and I bet everyone on here cannot name 5 others that would do the same in the last decade, especially with whats been going on in the last couple of seasons. Warriors are hard to find and we just seem to let them go.
I will have you a bet he ends up at a bigger club than Wakefield next Season, by that I mean finished in top 8 last year or have been Grand Finialists

| Other than Quins I can't see him getting any other offer.
SL clubs are not going to get in a bidding war for someone who gives 100% (when we are on the telly or when he needs a new contract)

| I wasn't disagreeing with you about Glenn, like I said I would have offered him a new deal. But he was on big money.

Wrong. At least two, possibly three other clubs are interested in him. For me should have been signed up and offered the coaching role that we offered Broadbent.

That can't be levelled at GM so i'm assuming that you're talking about Korki here?

| I'd have been happy to see Morrison stay on although he was a bit of a penalty machine at times.

I haven't really seen that much of him over the last couple of seasons, but from what I have seen, the number of penalties he gave away was probably in part down to over-motivation and the responsibility of guiding a young and inexperienced team round the park. There are worse things to be guilty of, I suppose.
We've had 2 good seasons out of him - better than a lot of Bradford fans thought we'd get when he left, due to the amount of time he spent out injured. Perhaps the club think they'd be chancing their arm going for a third? Perhaps Agar has his own plans and his own man for the captain's position? Perhaps it is just a case of looking for better value for money over the long term?
That said, if the deal were right for both parties, I'd stick with him too.

| Morro is our captain for gods sake he aint some bit part player like Hendo. Morro with decent players around him can still cut it at the highest level. Exciles as a example probably unlucky not to get man of the match. We should be trying to keep him and Smurph. Criticise Cas all you will but they have kept Rangi would we have done??? Or let him go to someone like Huddersfield??

I don't think its just the number of penalties thats the problem, its the nature of them. For our club captain to be giving them away for discent etc doesnt bode well for the rest of the team. Added to this he seems to have a short fuse and is easy to rattle (relatively compared to his experience) see Donny away in the cup for a prime example, coupled with his age and "fitness problems" I think the money is most probably better spent on somebody else - although I wouldn't be too miffed if he did stay as it would probably be on next to nothing money wise, but refer him to be replaced by a brit of some description though.
