sainsbury's to reopen store on ings road...watch this space!!!

that's what I was told by a mate of mine who works at Sainsbury's planning team in London (he covers the north of england).

That is also what i've heard, the one at Trinity Walk isn't hitting anywhere close to the sales figures expected. Can't see them pulling out of Trinity Walk though, i'd imgine they're tied down to a long contract

I can catagorically state that both Sainsburys stores will remain open, both the one at trinity walk and the re-opened sainsburys on ings road. The one on ings road will be a food store and trinity walk will continue as it is now. More details will be revealed in tomorrow's wakefield express. It may also mean there is no tesco as matalan and the other business that they wanted to relocate to the old sainsburys site no longer are able to relocate.

That would make sense of the strange plans that Tesco provided,either way they need to do something on there sharpish.
