Quote: The Clan "9 comments so far each of them either denying or ignoring anything remotely positive about Rihard Agar, like I said, we get it you don't like or rate him.
He's never held the position of DoR before so what makes him Bona fide, you hope he won't have any direct input to coaching for Hull FCs sake so do I. What contacts, he's the subject of jokes amongst the NRL especially at South Sydney.
He benefited from the large playing budget available at Sts but most of all he claimed the credit for the fantastic youth development they had which was actually the work of Eric Hughes which produced the backbone of the team McRae took over. Eric Hughes had already begun bringing the young lads into the team so SM can't even claim that as an achievement.
What notable achievements did he make at Hull?
His win % was little better than 50% and he hardly left a team capable of great things when he moved on, all this despite having the benefit of merging two squads together and an influx of £1.25 Million some of which would have found it's way into his player budget.
You put great stock in what Hull FC fans are saying about Richard Agars departure, I suggest you visit the Salford board and canvass their opinion on Shaun McRae. Salford win ratio 25% again despite having John Wilkinson's money to build a squad.'"
Why would we need to do that? We have first hand experience with Shaun McRea considering he was at hull for 5 years! Also there's no relevance to Salford as he was head coach there, and he is coming to us as director of rugby.
