You only had to see woodsys face to see how gutted he was, if it could've held together he would have been over the moon.
In retrospection he claimed that comment was taken out of context, so that answers that question anyway, we were firmly in the crosshairs, so much for wishful thinking with this lot!!

Who cares - Cru pulled out, there were 14 clubs left to assess and we were not the worst.

Well, I was there when from two different sources it was claimed that we weren't in the bottom 3 applications.

I cant imagine our application being lower than London-Quins. I do not believe we were only 2nd to Fax

The guy from London on boots n all was practically inghimself, when they interviewed him about being at risk as a c grade licence, his only defence was that quins are in a strategic place to Market the game in the south.
Halifax will have been the bottom of the pile, I can't see how they could compete with any SL club if they couldnt compete with widnes, I think they have been well and truly stitched up by the RF.
Crusaders, we'll never know?
I don't for one minute think we had a worse application than any of these clubs, I would wager that we had a better one than some that also made the grade c grading and how bulls and KR made grade b, I shudder to think.
But in my mind, and I'm up there with you on conspiracy theories, I think there is a huge difference between how good you rank in the applications and where you finish in the list in the eyes of the RFL.
