yeh the maths on the scheme aren't great - over three and a half grand going into the kitty, but given it should role over every week only £250 going back to the members as prizes......they should enhance it IMO as it's not really enough, it's almost insulting...

Ps I know it's a funraiser and i'm a member but to be sustainable it needs tweaking...

I disagree I think they have got the maths spot on. Even the starting point of £500 is well worth winning and £2 a week is a reasonably manageable amount. Given that all the profits go to youth development I think the scheme seems fair to all concerned.

As i said i'm a member, the point is (if you think about it) how can you market a scheme that pays out so little to non-wakefiled trinity fans / fanatics - anyone with half a brain will see the return is very very low. So actually by setting up the scheme as we have we are limiting the potential of the scheme.

You lot call it moaning, i call it thinking practically about how this scheme can grow.

We should look at enhancing the prizes, such as gift vouchers for the shop, hospitality packages etc ASAP.

The whole point of the scheme is to raise funds for the club's youth policy, and at the same time keep the members interested by offering them some incentive for joining, most people are happy to contribute for the sake of the club and not to win a fortune, if it bothers you that much you could always have a flutter on the lotteries' as well, that way you get the best of both worlds.

I agree mate, its all take and very little in return, i don't mind supporting juniors signings and the like but i think they have got it wrong.

If they want it to grow they need to add to the prize list and then use the publicity of the winners to sell it on.

i paid £2 cos id run out of things to wee and moan about this will do me until the franchises are announced.
