I dont buy the players are burnt -- were 3/4 into season,we didnt have a long cup run and only Morrison has been selected for any rep match.I doubt any player has played all the fixtures and we have used more players than most other teams.
The players fitness levels should be approaching peak at this stage of the season.

Whilst I agree with you, there is that arguement that the players pre season started too early.

Mentally, perhaps? It doesn't look like we have a squad of players who can deal with this kind of situation. A lot of young lads, a lot of inexperience, and no one with the guile to guide them round the park.

Just watched the Catalans v Leeds game. For a team that came bottom last season, they've had one hell of a turn-around. It's not all down to Menzies. A new coach, a few new ideas, and a bit of self-belief works wonders. Don't forget, we beat them in Perpignan at the start of the season.

If this is the case we need to replace Sanctuary with someone who can condition the players properly.

The problem is we are a Championship side playing in Super League and I'm afraid its no more than can be expected. This side was assembled on the cheap before administration in the knowledge that we were screwed financially with tax bills unpaid and winding up orders looming. It was all that could be afforded.

The problem is that we have won 6 games, 6 games more than I predicated, and sides know how to play us and how easy it is to beat us. Its boring to watch and I do not go away from home and will not. Quite frankly this season cannot end soon enough for me.

We cannot do anything until 26th July. No one will sign for us because we don't know what division we will be playing in next year. People are calling for Kear to be sacked - what's the point - we would only have to pay compensation and then who would you bring in and what the hell could they do.

Our onfield problems were caused some time ago and there is no way anyone can plan for the future until we know what the future holds. Thank God we've only got another 2 weeks to wait - then at least AG and JE and the rest of us will know our fate and then can get on with things and plan for the furure, whatever that future is.
