A mate of mine was there too - he always claims to have got his jeans signed by Iron Maiden, then woke up the following morning to find that his Mum had collected them from the bedroom floor where he'd deposited them in a drunken haze, and chucked them in the washing machine; autographs gone!

True or not, it's a good story.

true story - a few years ago before our lad was old enough to drive he wanted to see Pleymo,a french nu-metal/rapcore band live in Toulouse - I drove him down and booked into a local hotel - we saw the concert which was ok and he managed to get some autographs etc.
Now,Toulouse is a pretty big city with hundreds of hotels - Bad news was that the band;girlfriends & roadies etc were in the same hotel in rooms either side of our own !!! I think they stopped partying at about 4 AM !!!

I was not amused,especially when they came down for breakfast at about 0830 looking fully refreshed and probably shagged out (literally - lucky gets!) and I was fighting to stay awake.......never again !
