can't recall Vardis - certainly not in East Anglia,speaking of local bands - does anyone recall seeing a band called Emilies Cakeshop,originally from Yarmouth but travelled a bit,they were brill with a fantastic called vocalist Dave Smith ?

One of my guilty pleasures is Reo Speedwagon - Hi Infidelity.

They were a speed/thrash band who enjoyed a bit of success in the early 90's - they filmed a video for their single 'The Shrine' at Bradford Rio - I know, 'cos I was in it!

The guitarist lived across the road from me at Horbury Junction - nice lad, went to live in Oz.
