I actually quite like Mason. Just think he could do a bit more taking on the line than he does. He's got a bit of mongrel in him, but a forward needs that. |

Don't think that's the issue, he's an OK player - about the same as we already have so the more the merrier. What he isn't is this vastly superior being Boyd makes him out to be, he's far from that. |

Have to disagree with some im afraid. Mason is a far better player than Korki, Amor and Higgins. I will reserve judgement on Hickey. Get rid of the clumsiness and he is not far from and England jumper.

Totally contradicted yourself there, if he hasn't got rid of his clumsiness by now how can he be better - he's nearly 30!!! That's like saying if it had been on target it would be a goal...and?
Amor outplayed him and Higgins out muscled him. He looked like the player he is, an average battering ram who's never made it IMO. He lives off one game for Wales. Not even sure he's better than Korki and I don't rate Korki as high as most. |

Mason has more punch in attack and defence than our three imo. He has the game to be an England prop but the high tackles lead to penalties which cost you in internationals. Sorry Vast but i would have him in Wakefields team in front of those 3. Even with the odd penalty. |

Don't agree at all - Kyle Amor for example, is a far better prop than Mason and has the beginnings of a decent offload game, even if it doesn't always come off.
Mason is tagged as an 'enforcer' and he's not even very good at that - he's a very average battering ram with absolutely no rugby brain whatsoever. |
