| Quote WakeyManDan8="WakeyManDan8"Picking the team for next weekend and for the rest of the season is going to be incredibly tough based on that performance. Dean, Blaymire, Lee, Rinaldi, King, Hyde, Vievers and G Johnson were all missing today, and I reckon that quite a few of them would be in the best possible Wakefield 17. Gledhill, Annekin and Walshaw also appear to be pushing the first team, so there may be selection headaches ahead for Mr Kear!'" don't think gledhill will be pushing anyone out just yet imo the lad has shown he is not ready yet. needs a bit more size but will come in time.

| I thought young Gaz Moore had an outstanding game today and I'd agree, he's got lots of Broughy traits, including squaring up to Kevin Brown in the second half after the long-necked one started pushing and shoving.
Fair play to Tony - I thought he was a pointless signing, but he showed up well at FB today in tough conditions; if he can stay injury free, he could be a useful utility option.

[uIF[/u he can stay injury free, neither Blaymire nor anybody else will shift him from that full back position.

| Quote J.T="J.T"You sir are an absolute turd, to take the opportunity off the back of a great win to slag down a player who wasn't playing takes being pathetic to another level.
Great performance from all the lads today but lets not get to carried away because the mindless amongst us will be on their backs should they dare to lose next week.'"
Well it was a huge improvement wasnt it im a paying fan and im entitled to my opinion and to call me a turd is obviously someone who lacks a brain cell. I have said great win and everyone was great, club is on the up etc. I just think Tony showed us what a good FB can give to us and this someone who aint played in SL for 4 years.

Vievers that aint a selection headache he aint a SL player in a million years. The others are and the signing of Moore could have made the difference this season. Another reason why this membership is so important bringing quality youngsters through and keeping them at the club!

| Tony is a decent FB, what he is not, as some Hull fans failed to comprehend is an organising type. As long as you don't put him in the halves and ask him to do something he's not comfortable with - you will be fine with Motu.

I'd love to know how you managed to deduce this. In what way was Tony an improvement on Blaymire.
So on one game Tony is the man despite what looked a fairly ordinary display against a team that rarely threatened whilst Vievers isn't SL class in a million years and neither is Blaymire. Thankfully JK is coach and you are not
Tony hasn't played SL for 4 years, since when!
I've never understood why people feel the need to big up one player by bagging another - why?

| Thought Moore, or to be more specific, his kicking game was one of the main differences yesterday. Its amazing the difference a decent kick both coming out of defense and in atack makes to the game.
We played the conditions better and showed the determination we saw at the begining of the season that seemed to leave us lately.
Well done lads, we deserved to hang on and the best team on the day won.

| Based on one game, Tony was sound in both attack and defense, and if that continues, it will make it hard for anyone to displace him.
What may prove his downfall for making the FB shirt his own, is his ability to play elsewhere.
That said, competition for places and some added experience is just what we need, and looks good for the latter half of the season.

He's that decent a full back FC were prepared to let Briscoe go to KR and keep Tony, and as for the organising type he did plenty of that while we were defending yesterday.

Blaymire does not offer anything he is so slow. Motu Tony is a world class FB you dont play for NZ not being world class. Blaymire as failed to get faster and is non existant in attack --------------- that is blaymire mediocore. This is my opinion and many people agree with me I dont need your approval Vastman. You are probably the only person in Wakefield that still loves Ted when everyone else with half a brain can see what damage that man as done.
