Quote: Wakefield No 1 "I cant believe how much detail they have to go into to compile just a travel plan!! all it basically says is they will be shuttle buses probably from cas and leeds when we play them and they will do their best to enourage people to use them, or cycle or walk, in about a million words!!'"
But remember, this is the level of detail that was being asked for to prove that the location was sustainable. Now that this has been done and successfully agreed with three statutory bodies, the planning inspector has a situation where these three statutory bodies are happy with the proposals, so one of the three areas the inquiry wanted to look at has been effectivley removed and dealt with satisfactorily. Unless he disagrees with their conclusions, which is highly unlikely given who they are, then that just leaves the Green belt and the Ecology of the site to look at. As it is also likley that the issues of the site Ecology and animal habitats will reach a compromise position before the inquiry as well, then it just leaves the issue of the current Green Belt designation... which of course the LDF is likley to resolve before the planning inquiry as well.
So basically, the eventual inquiry could be short and not very eventful!
