A few years ago he was hot property in the NRL with Wayne Bennett tipping him for big things, the trouble is that he has/had a bit of a maverick lifestyle.
From what I've read of him he's an adrenalin junkie who loves it on the wild side, not in terms of alcohol or substances, he is a thrill seeker who lives life for extreme experiences and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all.
Well, not unless your his coach where his lifestyle is not conducive to him being regularly at his best on a rugby pitch. That said, he's still been good enough to make many notable judges sit up and take notice of his ability.
Maybe he's calmed down a bit since those days and settled into a more regular lifestyle.
