Quote seal="seal"its not that he was outstanding at all, he just back up and played alongside a creative half back in rooney. and brough for the first part last year when he looked good too. he is a luke dorn..... a supporting player,
i like him, but he needs to play alongside a creative player i think to see him at his best'"
I'd love to agree with you because Rooney is British. But IMHO and it's just what I think is that BJ is the superior player to Rooney in almost every aspect of the game. If people think BJ is inconsistent and frustrated by him then Jamie must have driven them crackers. The biggest difference was that at least when BJ set his mind to it he could be decisive - Rooney on the other hand rarely backed himself and scored most of his tries as the supporting player and scored less individual tries than BJ. I don't think either of them were especially creative but I'd probably give BJ the nod.
In 2004 our creative force was Solomona for me.
