It was just in front of where I was stood and I had already mentally conceded the try and even said as much. How Blaymire managed that I don't know. His safety under the high ball meant that they couldn't use it as effectively as we could as there seamt to be no chance he would drop it so they almost gave up that idea. So strong contender for man of the match. Did Rinaldi just pip him for it....maybe yes. It was the extra zip he gave to the team and the problems he caused from acting half so he gets it just by a wisker but I hope this puts paid to all the Blaymire bashing, which I've never really understood. Oh and one more thing for Rinaldi - the way he came over and shook the hands of the kids at the end of the game and stood with them for a photo, he was really happy and made the kids happy as well. Top bloke.'"
I saw that too. He seems a genuinely nice guy, who was just as happy with the win as the fans were.

Without wishing to put Blaymire down (cos he had his best game of the season so far, and was definately up there for m.o.t.m.), from where I was standing (about 20 yards away), it looked to me as though Cockend just didn't see him coming, and just ran straight into him !!! Poor play from him rather than anything exceptional from Matty B...

And yet on another thread, you're confident enough to say that Blaymire tripped Cockayne, and to call him a 'comedy defender?'
I'd stick to brushing your big pussy if I were you.

Looked to me like he tried to run through Blaymire and failed.

| From where i was stood, it looked like a shoulder charge, which i had been earlier saying should be outlawed as a dangerous tackle. the irony wasn't lost on my mates as i jumped up in the air shouting "go on matty give him it!!!!"
His body position looked a bit strange and it could very easily not have come off and he would have no doubt looked a muppet, but it did, and we won, so.............
