Just been having a read on the Wigan board and there is some upset that they can't get in on Monday using the Junior Season Ticket vouchers or change them at the shop on the day. This appears to contradict a statement on the Wakey website previously.
This is a big own goal on the clubs part IMO, if anybody from the club is reading this, please allow these vouchers to be swapped at the turnstiles or in the shop before kick off and announce it on here and the website.
It would appear that without a change in position on this matter, we are going to lose out on a number of away supporters. Its also kids that will be missing out.
Come on the club, lets show that the perceived improvement in the way we operate is still ongoing.
I can see where you are coming from but i think the reason for this is that Wigan have a lot of junior season ticket holders and although unlikely if they all turned up the ground would be over capacity. I think this is for safety reasons.
Thank you so much Wakefield for listening and reacting. We come every year and would have been disappointed to have missed the game. See you on Monday.
