well done wakey, you played well and deserved the win. Cas were poor but that's taking nothing away from you. I'd much rather have that game in SL than cas v crusaders.

Thats it isnt it 9000 + thou there buzz around rothwell , cas , wakey before the game friendly banter thats rugby league no free tickets given to make it 3000 this is pure rugby league and its FANTASTIC !!!!!

funny thing is, when the cas fans started singing that at 24-4 while wakey stood under the wheldon road end posts the game changed... thanks for that my village idiot chums

Great game, fantastic atmosphere. These are the games that make it all worthwhile take that away and what is the point? Still can't believe we won it that try just after half time should have sealed it. Cracking comeback by the lads showed so much heart and skill, unbelievable

Well done boys, very proud of you all. My throat is wrecked from singing last night (and excessive amounts of whisky!). Just to top it off had a daft twenty at 11-2.

Honestly didn't think we had that performance in us, to come back from 20 points down in about 30 mins was a fantastic effort. What makes it even better is that it wasn't down to Cas imploding or even on the back of a big penalty county (I don't think, anyway) and the heart they showed was absolutely fantastic and we deserved to hang on for that last 13 mins or so.

Hard to single out any player in particular but I thought Keiron Hyde had a great game atacking the line and also Griffin and Johnson did a lot of work taking pressure off the pack. Credit also to Kear as he must have given them the liscence to throw theball about, maybe the freedom of looking down the barrel at a 20 point lead took the pressure off a bit in a strange way, would be great if we could play with the same carefree attitude more often cos we always look a better side when we do so regardless of the players we have.

The spirit this side has is fantastic and we got nothing less than we deserved, the big fella watching would have been proud to see 17 lads all playing the same way as he used to do for us.

Never thought a 50+ man could jump about wi young' uns after final whistle ,paying for it this morning though.as for the the few cas morons stood at the back of the Wakey fans ,it's not over till the fat lady sings.If you can't handle alcohol don't drink it.outstanding team performance.Up the Trin.

I've nothing against ticket offers or free tickets but two threatened clubs playing out of old stadiums generating a 9K+ crowd without the need for freebies is something worth shouting about.
