5 Hours and 40 mins. A big thank you to everyone for their support and to the people of London for their encouragement for all 26.2 miles and thanks to friends, family and strangers I have reached my target of £1000 for Children with leukemia.
My legs are dead, my shoulders are crispy and I have a golf ball sized blister on my toe but I have my medal and memories of a great day.
Well done ! The wife once did the great north run for leukaemia care - ran in fancy dress as Bertie Bloodcell - I was knackered carrying it from the station up to the start !!
