look widnes got crapped on when they got relegated simple as ... they got rid of 2 themes that year yet of course the Frenches stayed up . widnes have satisfied the rules this and good luck to them . you never know guys widnes may win the grand final or evens above win the league yet!!!!! and we could actually finish bottom.

I stopped reading this ridiculous topic after this post. How someone can have a go at our league performances when you rooted down at the bottom on 0 points. We got shafted last time and instead of moaning about it, the last 3 years we have put together an incredible bid whilst maintaining steady crowds and producing a class youth setup.
In recent years Wakefield have dropped into administration and as for stadium plans, i haven't a clue whats going on there.

How are we rooted at the bottom, we have actually won two games, something you will find is non too easy when you join the big boys. If we hadn't had points deducted we'd be doing rather well considering who we have had to play so far.

Most monumentally daft point of all. If a club like Widnes can't put together a good youth policy to cope with the demand of an NL1 team and general Academy football then you'd better give up now. However before you get carried away wait and see if they make the step up to SL - it's a whole different world where NL1 players can go from Kings to clowns very quickly.

Wakefield went into admin this year, it's Widnes that did it in recent years - remember?

No one is moaning about Widnes getting into SL, people are unhappy with the system in general as they always have been. However we do accept we have to a degree been the masters of our own downfall.

It may take some time to get use to but this is how its going to be from now on, people have had 4 years to come to terms with it. I dont know how people can moan with the whole franchise situation, if anything, it has improved superleague by quite a bit. It gives some of the smaller clubs chances to improve on a 3 year basis. I'd never have thought that the top of the table would be Warrington, huddersfield and then Castleford. Only 4 years ago in 2007, Castleford where playing in the championship. This in itself surely indicates the success of the system, it allows clubs to slowly develop without the worry of relegation hanging over them
