What the hell have u won all the time u was in super league remind me lol.At least we been to 2 grand finals 3 nothern rail finals winning it 2 times allways finish in the play offs.One word springs to mind bitter  |

Most Wakey fans never wanted the Franchise system instead of P + R, not now, not never, so you can stick the ill imformed twaddle you blurt out.
Widnes deserve a crack at SL under the new Franchise system, no doubt under P + R they would have come up, sad thing is they would have gone back down agian the following season.

Maybe if you weren't poorly miss managed, had financial difficulties and not lied about a stadium since 98, then maybe you would be a play off Super League side.
You can be bitter all you want, but take a look at the whole picture!
Your new Chairman seems to have the right idea, maybe coming down in the Championship (not NATIONAL LEAGUE!) will do you the world of good. Gives you chance to re-assess the whole club from top to bottom, improve your facilities. Re-create a good structure from 15's > 1st Team (clear pathway).

We haven't won the league or grand final as we didn't throw all our money at the first team as we were busy meeting super league criteria, therefore we spent our money on a youth system aswell as our first team, clearly to the detriment of the first team, sad I know but that's what we had to do to achieve super league. maybe if Halifax had understood this they may have achieved sl next season. any hoot hope all works well for wakey, always enjoyed trips to your place. |
