Some possible ideas:

1) Calendar girls stylee calendar (I know it's the wrong time of year but potential for next year).
2) Sponsored bus/ fire engine/ other big vehicle pull.
3) Car wash (the firemen do it and make a fortune).
4) Fundraising fair in conjunction with a local school, split any money 50/50.

Also, it may be worthwhile contacting local restaurants to see if they'll donate any meal for two (or family) type prizes.

I'll see if I can think of any better ideas to add on.

If you are still running with an Auction night, then get in touch with P&O at Hull. They are quite good at giving away mini-cruises for 2 people to purely get you to advertise the mini cruises, so to speak!

Race nights usually raise a few quid.

A race night with Auction, if supported will get you a good return, i would offer to help but i've got my hands full.

Get the players/supporters to put on an adult panto run it for 6 nights £16 a ticket throw in some pie and peas, sell plenty of booze at the bar, run a raffle and you'll make a packet. Morley Rugby Club do it every year and make about £30,000. Not bad for a Union club, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

yep I'll back Al on that the race nights that we have had have all been good

curry & comedy nights are usually very good . we usually charge £20 per head.
a raffle at the game tho I was onother side of fence watching my son play hockey when the game v salford city was on last saturday and you dp not seem to have alot of supporters there.

That sounds like Wakefield FC - who play at college grove.

We're Wakefield City who play at West Yorkshire Sports & Social in Sandal. Although by all accounts FC are in trouble as well !

One of the problems at Wakefield Trinity at the moment is that at least three of the small management team they have are off to Mexico for a wedding. I'm sure they've briefed those left in charge but they'll probably be all hands on decks just keeping things under control. When they all get back I'm sure that someone will be on this and send you a reply.
