i know what your saying but lets not forget we were playing against the best coached team in superleague imo.We are improving every week when we get a bit of experience back into the team we will start to win some games.

we did have quite a few chances at the line and quite a few drop balls in the final pass. i'd agree with you . johnson will make a good winger and lee and hyde are getting better every game. overall, think the boys did great against a very very good opposition and some very questionable referee decisions. the improvement is there and actually i don't wonder what they are doing in training because i am sure they are working hard. to put in such a performance. warrington put 40 past leeds last week and after what these lads have been through we can be very proud of what they are slowly putting together. t.w.a.s.

I was asking the same question last night. No set moves, no evidence of set moves that abilitywise the players could not execute in a actual match. Just one man drives with no idea what to do on the last tackle. Comedy moment of the match goes to Hendo and his panic attack 'kick' when he inexplicably ended up in possession on the last tackle with the Warrington defence rapidly closing him down.

I think it is in some basics of the game where we are coming up short. Some of the passing is really bad either too slow, behind the man or about an inch off the floor. As you and others say no set moves or dummy runners making it easy for the opposition to read the play. If we can sort these two issues out, then even without a creative half back we would cause the opposition more problems.

wouldn't be the first time or the last that i have seen the wrong guy finish up with the ball on the last tackle. don't agree with you at all. i saw plenty of options used on the last tackle also saw quite a few set moves, not saying the execution was fantastic but they were there.

We are close to havin a very good side indeed in my opinion. We just need 2 big aussie props and a scrum half who is a excellent kicker and can get us around the park . Danny Brough anyone? No seriously that is what we need and I think things will be looking [size=150UP UP UP[/size

I was very encouraged by last night's performance in challenging weather conditions. Many of us were expecting a hiding but we got anything but. Stuck at it for the full 80 mins and dominated the last 15.

We are certainly not the finished article but the spirit and determination levels are much higher than last seasons squad.

Immediate improvement can be obtained if the players drill into themselves to be square at the play the ball and so cut down some of the silly penalties we've been conceeding. Admittedly we are struggling to break defences down but some days will be easier than others. If Hull are not at their best next week I really fancy our chances at getting a result.
