I can see what the OP is saying here, today was supposed to be all about trying to win some new fans over for the Wildcats and by the sound of what i have read on here that did not happen. The lads may have put 100% in but they still got spanked and that is not what people who are not the die hards want to see so my guess is that today has probbably done you future attendances much more harm than good. And as for telling the prospective new fans to like it or lump it well I think thats a bit off the mark too.

Look at our side, V.young, i saw alot today that ed me off (first 15 mins) but i saw alot to be hopefull about, once the guys got over their nerves they played with real heart, some of our defence was awsome, early days with a young side.
As for crowd been Quiet, i have lost my voice, you should have got your mates shouting and if they found it boring they proberbly would never come again anyway, you need to explain to them its not easy been a Trin fan  |

50 SALFORD????????????? TWIT..........id have said 300 and we deffo made a bit more noise than the rest of the 6000 odd in ur soul less ground!and most of you wouldnt have seen the ture number while we were clapping our boys off,as you had all disapeared 15 minutes early on!!

reckon about 200 salford fans give or take.
not a lot for wakey fans to cheer and loads heading for the exit early.

50 / 200 / 300 = they were making a fair bit of noise after the final whistle, which I could heard from the far side of the car park otherside of the ground. Fair play to however many there were, they supported well.
Us, well I noticed how quiet it was, I also didn't see much to cheer about. Transfers coming in please - influential playmakers, people who can hold their own up the middle, and a gameplan that plays to the skills of those on the paddock, including looking at this five drive and kick thing - that ain't working!

the least important thing about Sundays game was the result... for me it was a statement from the people of Wakefield that they were behind a professional rugby league team representing the city...
i that respect I am massively dissapointed... and I am sure Andrew Gliover will be as well. If he wants to run this as a business and not a hobby (as most of the rich investors do) then he now knows the full extent of the job ahead.
