I reckon the weather possibly took 1000 off the gate so if you add that to what we did get then it wasn't far off the 8000 most were predicting.

It was actually a positive attendence IMO, because it was 2000 up on last years against Salford.

I thought it was poor, if half price tickets, all that marketing and good pr, rebirth of the Wildcats, a fantastic win last week can not get the fans in, then we have no chance.

roughly the crowd i expected, and sadly nothing else was a surprise either, we are im afraid in a worse position now player wise than we were when people were fleeing last year in droves.

ps theres a light bulb in the toilets though now!

crap weather , crap away support , uncertainty still around . i think it would of put on an extra 1000/1500 its all about the experience and getting them back next game . what was the corresponding game attendance last year . also bear in mind that season tickets have hit a low

Last years attendance for Salford at home was just under 5k i think. so nearly 2k increase.

40% increase very good marketing and we don't have to pay some loser who came 7th on im a x factor celebrity on ice to sing for us.

They had less than a week to promote the ground offer. Also they have only had just over a week overall in-situ so a pretty good effort all round. The club can now look ahead to the next fixtures and plan accordingly.

It's not todays attendance. I think the club did as well as could be expected in the time given.
It is just that every time we try to promote the club the performance does not live up to expectations.
OK, I know there are good reasons but how many of the new faces will be there against the Bulls?
