| Quote: Mutley Cat "crap weather , crap away support , uncertainty still around . i think it would of put on an extra 1000/1500 its all about the experience and getting them back next game . what was the corresponding game attendance last year . also bear in mind that season tickets have hit a low
A tad harsh I think, but anyway tell me how many more you think you will bring to the Willows than we took today ? to a ground that has no cover on a winters day whilst it's p issing it down ?

| Peed it down all morning and well into the afternoon. Don't think the crowd was too bad considering that. Maybe the pay on the gate backfired a bit as the weather would have changed a few peoples mind.

| I agree - weather can put people off on the day, so we need to presell all our matches. At least the money is in the coffers, and people are more likely to attend if they have already paid.

| It's bad enough that the weather took a hold, the pitch was bad too, but the place was so gloomy and depressing and that's partly the fact that 24 bulbs in the floodlights, that's 25% of the total illumination, were out of action. Surely the players deserve better if not the fans. We really need to make the best of Belle Vue while we have it and not put people off visiting any more than we have to. And why was the tea bar closed?
