I disagree. Odsal is now only a grade C stadium and with no plans in place to rebuild or redevelop. Bradfords SL position has taken a severe turn for the worse at the worst possible time.

No, it's still a grade B. It has the required number of covered seating, corporate facilities, as well as all the other amenities that a stadium requires ie bars, food & toilets in larger numbers than most of the league.

And there are plans. They just require the club to find funding that won't get blocked by certain people who then prove they're hypocrites by allowing a new Mataland store next to their supermarket near Odsal.

I think you need to do your homework. The goalposts have been moved as they say. BV is dated and of no use to SL. Odsal is the same.

Exactly. To be fair Al there's very few fan's that came onto this board last week that we could have an axe to grind with. Most were excellent and very supportive.

RFL set the goalposts and for this franchise round they said BV, jungle,salford and saints werent fit for purpose. Odsal was fine for this franchise round. It may be a problem in 2015 IF they place the same emphasis on grounds which is by no means certain they will in current economic climate.

We want to be thankfull that the goalposts get moved, or we could have found ourselves out of SL for going into administration.

Matt i doubt SL will be th same come 2015, i would expect some clubs to go bust by then, and if the image rights battle is lost who knows what will happen.

Dont doubt it for a minute. Thats why I said our stadium may not be good enough come 2015. On other hand RFL may decide to concentrate on youth or on field development this time. who knows?. What isnt in doubt imo is bradford getting a license for next 3 year period. Think your fellow poster was maybe being a bit mischievous suggesting it?
