Its hard to feel sympathy for the club when so many of its supporters have their heads up their @rse claiming this is all a RFL conspiracy.
Even more annoying are the claims that the rest of rugby league is allowing one of its member clubs to go to the wall.
The cold hard facts are that mismanaged clubs (member clubs or not) will go under if they fail to deliver on financial promises, and the majority of the remaining clubs will have to trade on a shoestring budget making ends meet the best they can. If this means picking up players on the cheap then so be-it, Wakefield have happily expolited similar opportunities in the past.

I agree with FeartheVee's comment that there are positives to be taken from the administration route but your potential new owner hasnt helped with instilling any positivity into matters by making statements that he clearly cannot back up.

Most of the RFL were probably off work yesterday. I had an out of office reply from one of the backroom staff on Friday, saying they were away for the Millennium Magic weekend, and would be back in the office on Tuesday. Today is probably the earliest possibility for a meeting with Mr Glover round a table rather than a hotel bar in Cardiff. Unfortunate to say the least that the Administrator has been pro-active in the meantime.
