| IA...........Having had a look at the poster you have produced for your buddies on here i have to take issue with the wording on it. Yesterday in the AGM thread you and many of your other comrades accused me of NOT being factual in regards to some of the points i made infact you shot me down in flames and considered what i had written as mere opinion.
Wow.......then i see the poster and realise what a hypocrite you really are.
Virtually all the points on the poster which boasts in large bold lettering that it is the real facts about Newmarket (as if the SOS have sort of got the wrong end of the stick!!) and goes on to state the following as FACTS but then uses the words "it is highly likely" at the start of each sentence????
Well mate, is it fact or is it highly likely OR is it not the case at all????
POINT 1 - It is highly likely that the former Newmarket site will NO LONGER be part of the Green-belt by March 2012.
Erm..... Well is this a fact, or are you not sure, if you are sure and this poster is to point out the REAL FACTS then why use the words "It is highly likely"???
POINT 2 - The site will provide EMPLOYMENT for over 2,500 people in addition to an estimated 500 jobs during construction.
Oh right...OK, so you know this for a fact do you IA?? you know nothing about how many jobs it might create, it is mere conjecture on your part, absolute speculation and if this is the case, it should not be reported on this poster as a real FACT!!
POINT 3 - It is highly likely that much of the site will be developed in the near future for distribution and storage REGARDLESS????
Again with this "Highly likely" beginning to your sentence and yet again this is mere speculation on your part IA.
The only facts on this poster that i can see is that YES, Lee Moor Road is definitely in Stanley and that Tuesday is indeed the 11th of January.
Please don't accuse me of not stating facts again.

| Any poster must be 100% correct and must not give a false impression imo. The nimbys will have a field day pulling it to pieces.
Consideration must be given to re word this.

Try these:
www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/advi ... advice.cfm
or this if you want to check the property value for Newmarket area:
www.mouseprice.com/
Oh and by the way i would imagine its fairly easy based on the amount of units planned to be built to calculate how many people will be employed.
But this may help you:

| champaigncharile - I don't get it . Yesterday you asserted your opinons as facts on this forum. Now if today you are criticising others for allegedly doing the same exactly which piece of morral high ground are you trying to protect?
Maybe your tendancy to use the word fact is actually a figure of speect that you employ a little too liberally resulting in the waters being muddied.
Allow me to illustrate my point - I was concerned to read that in fact IA had shot you down yesterday in another thread. Now I think if this were true I might have read it in todays papers 'champaigncharile shot by IA on RLFans' - that would have made an interesting headline. I suspect you meant that he metaphorically shot down your opinion but I might be wrong.
See when your average Joe reads the word fact they think its really true. So when yesterday you said it was a fact that NM would never get built people were amazed because by definition this means you have the capacity to travel into the future and then return back to us mortals to share your revalation with us on RLFans (personally had I this capacity I'd return to the 60s when we actually lifted silverwear). Many of us rejected the time travel thesis in favour of suspecting that you didn't know this as a fact but that it was a strongly held opinion or desire of yours, out of a desire to protect the value of your bricks and mortar.
