Quote: feline "Having read through many of the posts on here re our current plight the way I see it is that all the Wakey fans care even if they have a strange way of showing it. Many of the fans are upset that it is only the shareholders who attended last nights meeting who have heard the full story. I believe the shareholder meeting last night should have at least been followed by a supporters meeting tonight. Everyone on here could have then gone along listened to what the club had to say and then put their points of view / shown their support or voice their lack of it. In fact it would be great to see the fans on here put their views forward as to how they would get us out of the situation we are in and help OUR club survive. The way I see it we are not doing ourselves any favours by falling out amongst ourselves, what picure must that paint at Red Hall. We have to fight for OUR club , its about Wakefield Trinity Wildcats past present and future , not about personalities who come and go. Come on we have ALL invested lots of money, time, heartache, good times and bad and thats what you do when you LOVE something so much , accept it warts and all. So put your time into writing a letter to Red Hall, the press, MPs , whoever shout loud and proud WE ARE WAKEFIELD, TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER.'"

at last some sense we all need to be united in this let's look to the future it could very well be rosy am well sick of all the doom n gloom

Quote: The Trip "It's obvious with the admissions over the past few days that the club has a debt position that is at a critical stage.

1. They could release 350k from NM if full planning had been granted and not called in.
2. The RFL refused a 350k loan.
3. Now a 500k share issue.

The RFL have obviously knocked back the loan because it will be for trading/historic debts and now it's time to turn to the supporters to do so.
However hard a decision in the harsh economic light the club has to go into administration. Then and only then would potential suitors step forward to deal with the administrators instead of dealing with the present BOD. You never know this is maybe why the interested parties have stepped back at the 11th hour (it's common sense and practice for them to do so) and what if a deal has been done with the RFL with the interested parties pending the present incumbants placing the club into admin.
It does not make any sense whatsoever to buy debt.
It's a gamble either way.
Place your bets.'"

heard the rfl didnt give us the cash has they didnt want us owing them cash has they would have toleave us in sl

Good points, I asked Lord Ted all these questions myself and he did admit these are all errors he has made.
However he then pointed out there are examples when he has got it right and he did say he saved a few quid when he didn't employ you icon_wink.gif
