spybot is very good however i think u might have a virus not spyware or malware but its worth a try if you can download it

I had the same problem and could not find an answer anywhere,
Then someone suggested a small piece of software called

MALWAREBYTES

If you can get hold of that and put it on a dongle then start your PC in SAFE MODE
Once done run the MALWAREBYTES from the dongle and that should erase den the most vicious of viruses or worms.

By the way, the dig shat that gets a kick from creating and releasing these worms should be crushed in a bin wagon and their remains fed to pigs!

Jinjer, mels has suggested that you do a full systems scan as she takes it you can get on line, link www.f-secure.com/en_UK/security/ ... e-scanner/ this should tell you what you are dealing with, spybot will deal with virus that it detects and remove but if you need to get Avast on to block incoming viruses www.avast.com/en-gb/index hope this helps bud

Also if you have more than one user account on the machine you should be able to log onto the Admin account without the Virus affecting you.

Once you have done this you should be able to delete the account where the virus seems to be located.

What ive found with the "Security Tool" virus, it is more user based rather than system based. You should be able to get a microsoft application called procexp.exe, this is a more indepth version of task manager and you could delete the virus from thre.

Thanks for the info Snowie/Tigersteve but no good yet,it won't let me download a thing so can't do a scan or download anything to rid me of it.Gonna try the Clan's idea next then unfortunately it's gonna be a cease of re-formatting my HD.The crafty gets are even stopping me copying my files to my external HD!!!
