Quote Sandal Wild Cat="Sandal Wild Cat"I'd make a point of looping round a certain cul-de-sac in the middle of the development if the route were up to me!
I for one would be singing extra loud at the point too! Although I would imagine our friend would have long sold up and moved on.'"
Why would you do that? If this is a march to our new stadium, then it should be a celebration - and just that. There is no need to mock those who, in some cases, will be genuinely upset by the events.
You would do well to remember that, just as we have a broad spectrum of supporters, there will be a broad spectrum of opponents - some would just quietly hope that this wasn't happening and a few will make a lot of noise about it - most will be somewhere in between.
Besides which, all this makes it sound like a done-deal and we should all remember that the final decision is still outside of our control and, whilst that remains the case, there remains that element, however slight, of doubt.
You have been enthusiastic in your support for this scheme, overly so at times (especially when dealing with the Cas fans), and whilst support is generally a good thing, there are times when you need to just 'reign it in' a bit! If we are succesful, these people will be the clubs neighbours and a good relationship with them, from the start, will be very important for all.
