| Quote: Uptoncat "TRB I'd like to place on record my thanks to you, swag and everyone else who worked so hard for this decision. I had major doubts about the application but you stood strong and firm and remained confident and pulled it off (with ease, I hear every councillor supported the application). I don't always agree with the way you stick up for the club and try to put a positive spin on everything but without you I believe this application would have been much harder, I have maximum respect for you and your efforts. This decision has in my opinion saved the club (for now at least - just hope it doesn't get called in but that seems highly unlikely from the murmurings I've heard). Heard there's still one more signing to be announced (any clues as to who it is??) things do look a whole lot rosier and I'm bow actually quite looking forward to our last season at belle vue even with what I would class as mediocre signings. It's all starting to get very real now (I know you have lots more hard work to do in the coming few weeks) but the playing side of things seems a little insignificant at the moment which is surreal as that's what w pay our money for - entertainment on the pitch.
On another note what was the reaction of the players and coaching staff after the decision? Did they look as happy as the fans?'"
well said m8 its got to be the best news we've all had in a long time lets hope its deff onwards and upwards for the cats and about time too.....!!!!

is inextricably linked with that of the wider Leeds City region and needs to take full

significant employment opportunity within the Leeds City region. This represents a
more appropriate location for large scale warehousing and freight distribution linked
to an urban eco settlement if a more appropriate site cannot be found within

So once you have cut through the bullsh*t, they want the jobs and warehouses for themselves....
I know ,it's sort of counter productive and looks like they are objecting because they have some warehouse space to shift. Their arrogance knows no bounds.

| It's nice to see LCC's frothing outrage; for once, WMDC are refusing to act like vassals and clearly, they don't like it up 'em.
