| Quote lifelongfan="lifelongfan"Bang on, I for one will not buy a ST until I know what I'm going to get for my money.
Gone are the days of blindly buying my ticket after last season.'"
I wish people would realise the damage they are doing to the club by NOT buying a season ticket. I appreciate that times are hard (I changed job and lost about 25% of my salary this year - not by choice I might add), but the club can get out of the current hole, or could certainly be helped along the way, if people bought their ST's.
All I would say is that failure to buy ST's, could cause the club more of the very trouble we are concerned about right now. If you don't want to help the club,
fair enough, but please think twice about criticising something that you are not prepared to assist with, unless it suits.
Oh, and the username may require an update!

| I'm getting mine Saturday.
I dont blame people for not bothering at the moment though, I just know I will want to go to every home game next year, regardless of who pulls on the shirt.
Hopefully they will put the effort in. Thats all I ask!

| Quote nicksapheno="nicksapheno"neither cas or salford have made quality signings. This is what i feel Kear is talking about'"
Wonderful quote, So Richie Mathers isn't a quality player ? Alright then, I arent saying he is a world beater but he is a quality signing.
And as much as i wouldnt have wanted Cas to have signed many of the players Salford have, They are quality. Luke Pattern is a class player.
Maybe your holding out for Billy Slater and Cooper Cronk ?
Maybe its a fact Wakey are in the brown sticky stuff money wise, And the players you are offering contracts to, Arent happy with the peanuts they are been offered. One of these, Is Nick Fozzard, Who seems to have chose us as we offered a far more suitable deal.

I can see the reasons why people are hesitant, but if your a 'life long supporter', then you should be supporting the club when it needs it.
Option A - buy a S/T - your money goes in to the club, goes towards the club sorting HMRC and other creditors - allowing it to trade in some kind of normality.
Option B - Don't buy a S/T - the club fail to satisfy HMRC and the bank manager, we go into administration and we immediately forfeit our S/L licence. Bang goes the bright future in the new stadium.
I know the above is over simplistic (not that much), but how would a 'life long supporter' feel if they had played their part in Option B?

I've lost 100% of my income this year so all my expenditure has to be value for money. Sorry but Wakefield Trinity do not supply that at the minute so I won't be getting a season ticket for the first time in a long time, despite my user name. And quite frankly with the mess the club is in and the, lets be honest, awful recruitment that is rumoured, I don't blame anyone for not renewing until some positive signs are seen.

That's absolutely understandable - and not just a bit rubbish too - sorry!
But for those that can afford - the question is, do you want a club or not, because if you do, then you need to back the club NOW - whoever is in charge. It's still OUR club.

I think some are worried with option C - buy a S/T - the club fail to satisfy HMRC and the bank manager, we go into administration and we immediately forfeit our S/L licence. Bang goes the bright future in the new stadium.
Like you say its not that simple. Were not renewing this time not because of HMRC fears but beacuse of the numerous games we watched last year and said we would not be here if it was not for the season ticket. There was no effort at times and it did not improve. Effort and a loss is fine by me its the Trinity way but no effort in these times its hard to justify the money and time (some people dont live in Wakefield who travel to home games).

| Quote MR BROWN="MR BROWN"a lot of that is just not right. damien has gone for better brass and we have got plenty of cover for his spot. he was happy enough when i last spoke to him. matty gets on well with jk which i think is well known. the only thing that probrably bothers him is being constantly bagged by some so called fans of young british players. as for latu and gleeson they were never offered contracts. think we all know about tevita and i can tell you first hand sean was ok with wakey when he left. wilkes was offered more money and has never really stayed with any club long. martin was offered more money by cas who then backed out and left him high and dry. drew wasn't offered a contract, deemed to be too old and surplus to requirements. jk was proved right when hudds only got an handfull of games out of him. snitch moved for brass and as far as noble is concerned its nothing to do with his rep its to do with brass. when he was at bradford , they were big spenders. their brass went and so did nobby. to wigan another big spender.now he his at crusaders who didn't have a team till the rfl threw buckets of money at them and if i am right i think he is on a rolling contract ready to move on to the next team with brass. if you want to have a go at the coaching team then do it , don't do it through the players.'"
I think thats bang on and my understanding of all the above transfers.
