I wouldn't really say that problem is the players ability, yes we are lacking in some departments i.e a controlling half back to settle us down, but atm it is quite clear the player have given up long ago and are totally lost with regards to confidence.
I hope a nice pre season and some challenging friendlies help them to bond together again and imo, kear should stay, providing he sorts his head out in the off season, for me the alternatives to kear i.e poching who has been touted as the new coach, would be a silly choice. Expecting someone like Poching to come and sort all our problems out is absurd.
Also with regards to signings already roumoured for next season, Wheeldon, Penny, JJ Parker i am quite pleased with these so far, none of these signings are approaching the end of the career so it will bring some new enthusiasm.
Looking at the squad and the coaches over their careers and not just the this season i think we can sort ourselves out and enjoy a successful season next year.

Genuine question - does that include Mr Kear, who is both on the BoD and directly responsible for the lack of application? Also, if they're as disappointed as anyone, what are they doing about it? |

I don't know all the details - that would be wrong - but I know that they are fans, just as we are. Only they have reality to deal with and not just hypotheses! |

You're right there. Why do they bother? It doesn't make any difference at all.

It certainly seemed to go wide from my vantage point on halfway too. The fans around me were surprised they gave it, but touch judges just seem to be there for ornamation puposes. |

the title of thread is right but should be aimed at the ref on we had on sunday,
after watching bootsnall and seeing three tries from bradford all three when slowed down showed them to be forward passes,
it just leaves me seething that we have to put up with this low standard of reffing, as it is we was still not good enough

Just watched it myself and have to agree; two were definitely forward and the one that resulted in the Menzies try was borderline. |
