| I wouldn't really say that problem is the players ability, yes we are lacking in some departments i.e a controlling half back to settle us down, but atm it is quite clear the player have given up long ago and are totally lost with regards to confidence.
I hope a nice pre season and some challenging friendlies help them to bond together again and imo, kear should stay, providing he sorts his head out in the off season, for me the alternatives to kear i.e poching who has been touted as the new coach, would be a silly choice. Expecting someone like Poching to come and sort all our problems out is absurd.
Also with regards to signings already roumoured for next season, Wheeldon, Penny, JJ Parker i am quite pleased with these so far, none of these signings are approaching the end of the career so it will bring some new enthusiasm.
Looking at the squad and the coaches over their careers and not just the this season i think we can sort ourselves out and enjoy a successful season next year.

| Quote snowie="snowie"I'll be honest enough to say I'm dreading next season if this is what we have to put up with,
not even an urgency from the kick off at 26- 12 down to try a short kick to get possession back,
no 40/20 attempts,
no grubber kicks at players to force a knock on,
no support for the man with the ball
no kicks behind the line to force another set of six,
bradford ground is renown to the ball holding up in the corners but did we utilise this? no
'"
But at least we rushed to form a scrum and pack down whenever one was awarded knowing we were fighting against the clock.
Oh no, wait a minute, that didn't happen either.

| Youi're wrong there Fordy, late on in the game a scrum was awarded and WT players ran to form the scrum. However only 5 of our players formed the 'pack' and so he didn't stop the clock!

True
On another note am i the only one getting fed up with refs, blowing up scrums and re-packing them for all sorts of reasons, just penalise teams that don't do the simple task right first time. Must have happend 8 times yesterday.
And while i'm having a moan, 1 conversion did not go over yesterday but got awarded all the same. Bradford fans stood behind the posts could not believe it.

Absolutely right on both there. Couldn't believe the goal kick. I was in line and it did not go throught the posts.
As for the scrum, they packed in with one less in the game and the ref stopped play and told them what to do. It's not his job to coach, it's his job to penalise.
AND, joining in on your moan, I hate the rule about packing down to stop the clock. It's only half a rule. If you want to stop the clock you should be ready to play. If the scrum half packs down he should stay there, otherwise the clock is not stopped.
Best thing the other team could do is when the team rush to pack down, they do the same and tehn start playing. It'll soon get some spaces on the field with the fat prop still sat out in the centres from the scrum!
Few. Glad I got that of my chest

| Quote TRB="TRB"The recruitment may not be 'top drawer' but we can get only what we can get.
IMO we're not THAT far away anyway. The answers lie in getting everyone pulling in the same direction at the same time and playing as a team again. That a few changes would do me just fine!'"
I admire you loyalty TRB, but i expected more for my £400 family season ticket, i don't mind getting beat by a better side, but it's the manner of the defeat, and the "bury your head in the sand and it might go away" attitude the the Club seems to have adopted in the past 3/4 month's, well on the plus side it's saved me £400 on a season ticket......

No-ones head is buried in anything. We have a few issues which need to be addressed - and hopefully will be - but I can tell you that the BoD are as disappointed with the lack of application as anyone.
Mid-season is a difficult time to change things around, as seen following the 3 departures, so we are reliant on what we can do between now and February. We are currently hampered by our situation with BV, although this is starting to get clearer and, all being well, we will have a much brighter outlook in a few weeks time and this may even effect the recruitment for next season.
As it is, I would gladly follow the side we have now - if they got their fingers out, but there are too many players under-performing right now.
As you are on here posting, I imagine that you are a supporter of the club and, on that basis I would suggest that you will be at the games next season and that you should do yourself a favour and take advantage of the early deal whilst you can and save a few quid. You knowww you want to!

I am a supporter of WTW that's why i spent nearly £400 on a family ticket last year, i would glady follow a side that give's 100% week in week out even in defeat, i can handle that, but our demina, body language, and attitude does not impress me, i remember waiting 5 hours in a car park in Wrexham and the players got a standing ovation when they got off the bus and we hammered Crusaders, and i would wait 5 hours every week if we gave the same commitment, our team has not changed since then ???, i understand that confidence is a massive factor, but so is Attitude, and ours is not good at the mo, as for renewing my season ticket i'll take a rain check...
As for Newmarket fingers crossed, but unfortunatly this will still not guarantee our SL status even if we get it, the weakest will still bow out, our best hope in my opinion is Crusaders or Quins go bust.

TRB i admire your loyalty and wish you were wearing the No 6/7 shirt i would gladly stump up right now, but that old chestnut about things changing get's a bit matanous after 30 years, i remember Ted and Toppo arguing years and years ago when Toppo wanted to invest in the club and things still appear to be the same, maybe you should be on the board TRB and give me a free season ticket....lol...
