| Jon Clarke from the wolves he is a quality hooker with plenty of experience. I think his contract is up at the end of this year.

| Nero is a poor signing in my opinion. Anderson will do a job but nothing more, like Johnson did for us. Patten looks like he'll be quality. But i wouldn't be overly excited because i want to see these youngsters moving up the order so to speak. I've nothing against these individuals, they've been very good players, but that said, what will these signings hold for the likes of Salford's young english players such as Sidlow?
That's the question we're asking and it's one that applies to us even more so, is how will these players get game time if coaches are consistently looking for a quick fix.

| To be fair, Salford's squad has really suffered through lack of depth in the last few seasons and a lot of our players are actually quite young. Bringing in some experience and extra cover is the right thing for the Club to do. Our youth set-up is also doing well and because of the lack of depth over the last few seasons, a lot of our younger players have been given chances to break through. Myler, Sidlow, Jordan Turner, Ratchford, Adamson, Jewitt, and Sneyd to name a few over the last season and a half.
IMO the players we're signing balance out the youth and are plainly better than the guys they're replacing.

| Back to Wakefield signings, since it's the Wakefield board and that; have we actually confirmed any at all for next season yet and more to the point, any to get excited about?
We've been strongly linked to 'project' players like Jessie Joe Parker and Kevin Penny, but I haven't seen anything official to confirm either of those yet.
Then we've been vaguely linked to a few other ordinary players, including the joker who kickstarted the rumour mill by claiming to have seen someone driving out of Superbowl carpark.
Aside from that - any official line on new signings for next year? Any crumb of hope for disillusioned supporters, that might make Mr Elston's 'membership' cards look like a worthwhile purchase?!
Come on Wakey - throw us a bone!

| Doesn't really matter who any of us would like to sign, the BIG problem is getting anybody to come.I would just like to see players play with passion and desire when out on the pitch. Why not give lower league players a stepping stone to bigger clubs if it gives us a good last season in sl(probably).Nick Youngquest played for gateshead last season now he is doing a decent job at crusaders, some people just need a break instead of giving has beens another chance.

| Bit like our own Mr winterstein who went to Crusaders and has been given a chance and done a half decent job. didnt get given a chance at Wakey.
Think Kear has his favourites and its about time he opened his eyes and realise that they are EDIT
Weve got some now at wakey that if they were racehorses theyd have been sent to the knackers yard long before now!!!
