lol short memories, Farrell was regarded as nothing but a Fielden from many quarters.

Those were the people though who probably jump up and down for a below-average prop and fail to accept other teams have quality players. Andy Farrell was a great rugby league player and a hard worker, shame some just want the second quality rather than skill and ability as well.

All some want are a team of Kevin Henderson's, or so it comes across as that.

Watching wakey all we are going to get is a team of kh's not a team of farrell's.

Paul Cooke has been slated time and again both on here and on th terraces but what is he supposed to when he has only one runner to hit when he has the ball in hand. He needs at least three runners running different angles in order for him to be effective. If this were the case and he was constantly choosing the wrong options then fair do's. I'm not a massive fan of Cooke but he cant be judged properly when he hasn't got any options. What does Kear coach them to do in training??? Its basic rugby league having dummy runners inside runners support players etc but we can't even do it.

I just can't imagine what they are or are not doing in training,it's basic under15 RL to have options from either the acting half back or first receiver.But match after match there are no signs of any and if some body does a dummy run he doesn't run the line like he's even going to take the ball so it's easy to defend against.No set moves ,no one supporting the ball carrier,slow defensive line,you could go on and on.They all know how to do it,so why isn't it happening?

Yes he hasn't got many runners, but is he deserving of a deal? The answer is no, hes poor in defence kicking has been poor not enough for me. Its a shame as 5 year ago he was quality , not now in this day an age you dont get offered deals out of sentiment just ask JD.

You say about no runners, but part of his role surely is to say what he wants to happen off him when the ball comes his way, ie who he wants running where, and who is he looking to feed through. Basics, sorry.

Agree with both posts above. I don't think he is deserving of a new deal however he isn't being helped by our tactics or lack of them. Yes part of his role is to organise the set pieces but to me it doesn't look like we've got any or if we have they are terribly rehed. I've held back on my judgement re jk but I now think he's run his course, we are playing the worst rugby league we've played for years and are the worst team in the league at the moment. From the whispers I have heard he has lost the respect of the players and after declaring his interest in two jobs for teams below us in the table then this comes as no surprise
